One of the less common sideboards decorations is painted subject compositions, influenced by neighboring countries. An example could be sideboard from the Zanavykai museum made in 1800. This sideboard is made of pine boards in one door, with metal lock. The outer side is polychromed and painted with rural household images.

Exhibit was in poor condition. It was decided to do chemical research of polychromy, consolidate wood, restore missing parts of base, to strengthen polychrome layer, to clean a thick layer of dirt, to restore metal parts, prime losses with ground, retouch and cover with protective coating.
